If you’re looking for a little something sweet to snack on, this simple sweet bread is a dream. It’s great as-is or can be used as the base for all of your FAILSAFE sweet bread dreams.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease a loaf pan and set aside. 

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.

  3. In a 2-cup measuring cup, measure out milk and oil, then crack in the egg. Whisk to combine.

  4. Pour wet ingredients into your dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.

  5. Pour into your greased loaf pan and transfer to oven. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
