Description

Pearsauce is great on it’s own or can be used as a replacement for oil and/or eggs in baked goods just like applesauce.

Ingredients
  • 6-7 pears (peeled and cored)
  • water
Instructions
  1. Peel, core, and chop pears into chunks. Doesn’t need to be precise.

  2. Place pear into a large stock pot and fill halfway up the pears with water. Turn the stove to high and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until pears are tender, approximately 20-25 minutes.

  3. Once the pears are tender, use an immersion blender (or food processor) and blend until smooth.

  4. Serve hot or cold.
