Description

A simple bean salad for when you want to keep things basic but also want it to be delicious.

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can cannelini beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 stalk stalk green onion (chopped)
  • 5 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp citric acid
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (1 clove) garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the beans and transfer to a small or medium sized mixing bowl. Add in green onion.
  2. In a measuring cup or small dish, mix together oil, water, citric acid, sugar, garlic, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour dressing over the beans and let stand for 15-60 minutes. Enjoy!
