Description

Oven cooked hamburgers are as easy as they are delicious. So ditch the grill and fire up your oven for your next burger night.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (or 1 clove) garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon carob + pear bbq sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped leeks (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and cover with a wire rack. Spray or brush with canola oil.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl and combine with your hands. Don’t overwork or the burgers will get tough. Form into 4 patties and place on wire rack.

  3. Place burgers in the oven and cook for 20 minutes (for medium well). No need to turn since they are getting air circulating underneath them.

  4. Serve with your favorite toppings, sauces, and buns/wraps.
