Description

This brownie batter baked oatmeal is officially my new favorite breakfast. It’s super filling with just the right amount of sweet for breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (gluten free if necessary)
  • 2 tablespoons (gluten free) flour
  • 1 tablespoon carob powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • salt
  • 1/3 cup milk (cow, rice, oat …)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon oil (canola or rice bran)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon carob chips (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F/150°C. Spray or brush a small ramekin or glass dish with a failsafe oil and set aside.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and stir to combine.

  3. Pour batter to your greased ramekin and transfer to the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until center is set.

  4. Let cool for 5 minutes before enjoying!
